I am a British contemporary painter based in Oxford.​​

Nature is usually my main source of inspiration but in the last few years I have become increasingly drawn to non representational art. This has been a very exciting journey. The more I explore abstraction, the more unlimited potential I see.

It gives me the freedom to move forward and do art that isn't confined to just what people may like. This enables me to be authentic, experiment and trust the process of art making.

My artistic journey has evolved, transitioning from a figurative approach - when I focused on representing recognisable subjects - to abstraction, where form, colour and emotion take centre stage. This in itself is liberating as it allows far more expression and interpretation, free from the constraints of literal representation
